Posture And Movement Assessment + Guided Start
Posture & Movement Assessment + Guided Start
Most people know something isn’t quite right with their horse. They feel it in the movement, in the way the horse carries themselves, in the small things that don’t quite add up. Progress isn’t consistent, certain issues keep returning, or something simply doesn’t improve in the way it should. But the problem is, they don’t actually know what they’re looking at, so they rely on guesswork or on someone else seeing the horse occasionally and giving an opinion.
And that’s where things tend to stay stuck. Because without understanding what is really happening within the body, it’s very difficult to make the right decisions, and even harder to create meaningful, lasting change.
This is where we start.
The assessment looks at how your horse is functioning as a whole. Not just how they appear, but how they are loading their body, how they are balancing themselves, where they are compensating, and how that is affecting their movement, posture, and ability to develop correctly over time.
You’ll receive a full written report, alongside a video summary where I talk through exactly what I’m seeing on your horse. This allows you to both see and understand what is happening, rather than being left trying to interpret it on your own.
But more importantly, this is not where it ends.
Because information on its own doesn’t change anything.
So instead of leaving you with a report and expecting you to figure it out alone, we take that information and begin applying it straight away. We go through it together, and we start the process of changing it, so you can feel the difference and understand what you’re doing as you move forward.
What’s included
You’ll receive a full posture and movement assessment of your horse, looking at balance, alignment, loading patterns, and areas of compensation, supported by both a written report and a video breakdown so you have clarity, not just information.
From there, we move into an initial training session, where we take those findings and begin applying them in real time. This is where things start to change, as you learn how to work with your horse in a way that supports better movement and function.
You’ll then have a follow-up session to review progress, refine what you’re doing, and make sure you’re continuing in the right direction.
You’ll also be given targeted exercises specific to your horse, based on what they need, not a generic routine.
Training sessions can be carried out either online or in person, depending on your location. Many clients work with me remotely, and online training has proven to be highly effective when applied correctly. I work with clients across the UK and internationally, including the US, Australia, and Europe, so you are not limited by location.
Timeframe and structure
To create meaningful change, consistency is essential.
This process is designed to be completed within a structured timeframe so that progress is maintained and your horse has the opportunity to develop correctly between sessions.
The two training sessions included within this package are to be taken within three weeks, and are typically spaced 7 to 14 days apart. This allows enough time for your horse to begin adapting and improving, while ensuring momentum is not lost.
Extended Support Option
For many horses, the first two sessions are just the beginning.
As your horse starts to change, new patterns emerge, strength begins to develop, and different areas require support. Continued guidance at this stage makes a significant difference to how well that progress is maintained and developed.
The extended support option includes everything in the assessment and guided start, with an additional two training sessions to build on the initial work and continue progressing your horse in a structured and supported way.
These additional sessions are designed to be used within a six-week period, maintaining the same 7 to 14 day spacing to ensure consistency and progression.
Is this right for you?
If you’re happy relying on others to tell you what’s going on with your horse, and you’re not particularly interested in understanding or changing it yourself, then this probably isn’t for you.
But if you want to be able to see what’s happening, understand it, and know how to start improving it, then this is where you begin.
Investment
The assessment and guided start package is £220.
The extended support option, which includes two additional training sessions for continued guidance and progression, is £320.
