Lesson Waiver for Participation in Training, Events and Clinics
Applies to UK based and International Participants
By entering any form of training session, event or clinic at Long Drove Holistic Horse Training or via Videotelephony I agree that:
(Any activities run by Tara Osborn (proprietor) will be known throughout this document as: ‘Lesson’)
My accepted booking for the Lesson will not be transferred to another person.
In the event of any ‘act of God’ conditions causing a cancellation of the Lesson, I agree that my total Lesson fee is not refundable.
(Videotelephony) In the event of internet connection failure causing cancellation of the Lesson, I agree that my total Lesson fee is not refundable.
(Videotelephony) I acknowledge it is my responsibility to ensure that my internet bandwidth, speed and latency have the capacity for an ‘online’ Lesson.
I am in an appropriate physical condition to participate in the Lesson, given the known parameters of the Lesson (such as the length, time, physical demands and environmental context).
I have taken medical advice on any pre-existing medical conditions, and confirm that it is medically safe for me to participate in the Lesson.
I acknowledge that there are risks involved in the Lesson. I fully realise the dangers of participating in the Lesson, and fully assume the risks associated with my participation, my well being and safety during and after the Lesson. I understand and acknowledge that the proprietor or any persons in their employ, provide no warranties, regarding my well being and safety. I have my own third party insurance .
I understand and agree that situations may arise during the Lesson, which may be beyond the immediate control of proprietor or any persons in their employ.
I will participate in the Lesson, in a manner that does not endanger either myself or others.
I agree that to the extent permissible by law, that the proprietor, any persons in their employ or other parties associated with Long Drove Holistic Horse Training, have no liability to me whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, including, but not limited to: accident, loss, damage, death, injury or illness to hirers, riders, horses, owners, spectators, property, vehicles and their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever during my attendance at the premises in connection with the usage of any of the equestrian facilities.
(Attendance at Long Drove Holistic Horse Training) Riding, working with horses and handling horses can be dangerous and horses may be unpredictable. By using the facilities I do so at my own risk and the proprietor or any persons in their employ will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss, sustained by me during or in any way related to my participation in the Lesson.
I authorise the use of my name, voice and picture in any broadcast, telecast, promotion, advertising, and in any other way, without payment to me or any other form of compensation.
I recognise the inherent risks involved in riding and handling horses, including but not limited to bites, kicks, abrasions, injuries from falls, slips and trips and allergic reactions. I understand the horse riding is a dangerous sport and as such undertake the activities at my own risk.
I agree that my safety equipment (including but not limited to riding hat and body protector) complies with my countries current safety standards.
(Attendance at Long Drove Holistic Horse Training) I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ensure my horse's passport is up to date.
(Attendance at Long Drove Holistic Horse Training) I acknowledge it is my responsibility to have my horse's passport with me (in the car/lorry).
(Attendance at Long Drove Holistic Horse Training) I acknowledge it is my responsibility to ensure my horse(s) is up to date with vaccinations.
I agree to follow all reasonable safety instructions provided to me by the proprietor or any persons in their employ before, during and after the Lesson.
I consent to receiving medical treatment in the event of illness or injuries suffered during or immediately after the Lesson.
