System Requirements

Please note that it is your responsibility to check that the computer you plan to use to access your Course Materials and the Online Course is compatible with the minimum system requirements that relates to the Online Course you are ordering. You acknowledge and accept that Long Drove Holistic Horse Training cannot be held responsible for any technical problems you encounter following the purchase of an Online Course.

Recommended System Requirements:

Operating System: An up-to-date operating system (Windows 10/11 or a recent macOS version).

Processor (CPU): An Intel Core i3/i5 or AMD Ryzen 3/5 (or equivalent).

Internet Connection: A stable broadband connection is crucial, with at least 5-10 Mbps download speed and 1 Mbps upload speed per user recommended.

The Online Course Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Website and purchase of any Online Course, Pathway or any other learning material published by Long Drove Holistic Horse Training, known throughout this document as Online Course or Course. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing an Online Course and print off a copy for your records.

Long Drove Holistic Horse Training will not file or otherwise keep a copy of any agreement concluded between you and Long Drove Holistic Horse Training, and a copy of the concluded agreement will not be available from Long Drove Holistic Horse Training at a future time and date. By registering on the Website you are confirming your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The Online Courses are for training purposes only. Long Drove Holistic Horse Training will not accept any responsibility to any party for the use of the Course Materials for any purpose other than training for educational purposes, including but not limited to the giving of advice by you to any third party.

Long Drove Holistic Horse Training will process the information it receives from you or otherwise holds about you in accordance with these Terms and its privacy policy. You consent to the use by Long Drove Holistic Horse Training of such information in accordance with these Terms and Long Drove Holistic Horse Training's privacy policy.

Intellectual Property

  • At all times, Long Drove Holistic Horse Training and / or its licensors, remain the owners of the intellectual property in the Online Courses, the Course Materials content. No Online Course and / or Course Materials, nor any part of it may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system or transmitted any form or by any means without the prior written permission of Long Drove Dressage Centre.

  • In consideration of receipt by Long Drove Holistic Horse Training of the Course Fee, Long Drove Holistic Horse Training grants to you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Course Materials content for the sole purpose of studying for the Online Course. For the Online Study Materials, the licence granted is to use them on one computer (such as a desktop or a laptop) and one mobile device (such as a smartphone or a tablet) only.

  • Save as expressly set out in these Terms, you may not modify, copy, reproduce, re-publish, sub-licence, sell, upload, broadcast, post, transmit, make available, disseminate or distribute in any way any of the Course Materials. You may not modify, adapt, merge, translate, disassemble, decompile, recompile or reverse engineer any software forming part of the Online Course, Course Materials and / or Online Study Materials, create derivative works based on the whole of or any of their parts, or incorporate these into any software program. The use of the Online Course, Course Materials and / or Online Study Materials not expressly permitted in these Terms is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of either Long Drove Holistic Horse Training's copyright and / or Long Drove Holistic Horse Training's other intellectual property rights, and / or the copyright and / or other intellectual property rights of Long Drove Holistic Horse Training's licensors.

Limitation of liability

  • The exclusions and limitations of liability contained in these Terms do not apply to a party's liability: (i) for fraud or willful default; (ii) for death or personal injury caused by its negligence; or (iii) where such limitation or exclusion cannot lawfully be excluded.

  • Except as set out in these Terms, Long Drove Holistic Horse Training shall not be responsible for losses that result from its failure to comply with these Terms including, but not limited to, losses that fall into the following categories:

    • Indirect or consequential losses;

    • Loss of income or revenue;

    • Loss of business;

    • Loss of anticipated savings; or

    • Loss or corruption of data.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training is not responsible to you for any data that you lose either (a) as a result of accessing the Course Materials or (b) during completion of any Online Course via the Website. It is your responsibility to ensure that you regularly save and back up (i) all data which you hold on the computer from which you are accessing the Course Materials and (ii) all data that you are inputting when completing the Online Course (if applicable).

  • Save as otherwise set out in this section "Limitation of liability", Long Drove Holistic Horse Training's maximum aggregate liability to you for any claims that you may have against Long Drove Holistic Horse Training for direct loss in contract, tort or otherwise arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the Online Course, your use of the Course Materials and any technical support shall be limited to the amount of the Course Fee which has been paid, or is payable, by you or on your behalf.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations under these Terms if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond Long Drove Holistic Horse Training's reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

  • Each provision in this Limitation of Liability Clause shall be construed separately as between you and Long Drove Holistic Horse Training. If any part is held to be unreasonable, inapplicable, or unenforceable, but would be valid if some part thereof was deleted such provision shall apply but with such modification as may be necessary to make it valid and effective.

  • Ordering via the Website: When purchasing an Online Course via the Website, you can change your order at any time, up to the point at which you confirm the payment, by pressing the button "Pay Now".

  • When you place an order for an Online Course via the Website, you are offering to purchase that Online Course on these Terms. Long Drove Holistic Horse Training reserves the right to decline or cancel your order, or any part of your order.

  • Following receipt by Long Drove Holistic Horse Training of your order for an Online Course via the Website you will receive an automated email confirming that your order has been received by Long Drove Holistic Horse Training.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training reserves the right to withdraw at any time Online Courses advertised for sale on the Website.

  • The Course Fee for any Online Course at any given time will be displayed on the Website. Course Fees are inclusive of VAT and are quoted in pounds sterling, exclusive of any delivery charges payable in relation to delivery of Course Materials. Where applicable, all additional charges will be added to this price.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training will debit the Course Fee from your credit card or debit card on or after the day you make an order for an Online Course. Credit or debit card details are collected through your PayPal account, over a secure link and an authorised amount verification is taken immediately. Long Drove Holistic Horse Training does not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training reserves the right from time to time to change the amount of the Course Fee. In the unlikely event that due to a technical error, the amount of the Course Fee displayed on the Website is incorrect, Long Drove Holistic Horse Training will notify you as soon as it reasonably can. If the correct amount of the Course Fee is higher than the amount displayed on the Website then Long Drove Holistic Horse Training will contact you to notify you of the correct Course Fee, so you can decide whether or not you wish to continue with your order of the Course at the increased Course Fee. If you decide you want to cancel your order Long Drove Holistic Horse Training will give you a full refund in respect of any amount you have already paid. If the correct Course Fee is lower, Long Drove Holistic Horse Training will refund you the difference only between the amount which you have paid and the correct Course Fee payable.

  • Cancellations should be notified in writing. You will be eligible for a refund if you have not accessed the content. If this is the case you will be entitled to a full refund (less a 25% administration fee).

  • For all Online Courses, Long Drove Holistic Horse Training may cancel at any time.

  • Please note that you cannot cancel your purchase of an Online Course if you have downloaded any of the Course Materials and/or accessed all or part of the Online Course in any way. Your statutory rights in the event of receiving faulty goods are not affected.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training reserves the right to use its discretion to determine whether to make refunds and to charge additional fees in any such event.

  • In the event that you purchased a course via PayPal, the following applies with regards to total/partial refunds (this is not an exhaustive list, as other PayPal terms and conditions may apply):

    • If you paid with your debit card or credit card, your payment is refunded to that card. Refunds may take up to 30 days to appear on your statement;

    • If you paid with your bank account or PayPal balance, your payment is refunded to your PayPal balance;

    • Refunds are in the same currency and at the same conversion rate as the original payment.

  • Except as set out in the description of the Online Course on the Long Drove Holistic Horse Training Holistic Home Learning Page, no additional Course Materials will be provided by Long Drove Holistic Horse Training.

  • Your access to an Online Course will be automatically unlocked upon your payment. Regarding other types of Online Course with a predetermined start date, Long Drove Holistic Horse Training will notify you of when you will have access to the Online Course purchased and for the length of time such access will be made available to you, unless any such Online Course is removed or cancelled.

  • The receipt of an Online Course is personal to you and you may not transfer your rights to access the Online Course or provide an Online Course to any other person.

  • You may incur charges to your internet service provider while you are accessing and / or downloading the Course Materials. Charges may also be payable to third parties for use of the software necessary to access and / or download the Course Materials. You are responsible for paying these charges.

  • From time to time, Long Drove Holistic Horse Training may make modifications, enhancements or issue clarifications to the audio-visual, interactive or written Online Courses. You will have access to such changes free of charge only to the extent that such changes relate to the Online Course purchased by you.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training may produce Online Courses covering new material. If new material supersedes existing Online Courses, these may be available for purchase as new Online Courses.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, purchase of a current Online Course does not entitle you to have access to future revised Online Courses as part of the original purchase.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training is not obliged to offer you any technical support in relation to your use of any of the Course material available on the Website.

  • You accept and acknowledge that periods of downtime may be required in respect of the information technology infrastructure connected to the Website and that your Course may not be available during such periods of downtime. Further you accept that you will not have a claim for breach of contract or otherwise in respect of such period of unavailability.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training will use reasonable endeavours to make the Online Course available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, timely or error free availability or that defects will be corrected. Long Drove Holistic Horse Training reserves the right to suspend access to the Website for the purpose of scheduled or emergency maintenance, repairs or upgrades to improve the performance or functionality of the Website.

  • You also accept and acknowledge that Long Drove Holistic Horse Training cannot be held responsible for any delay or disruptions to your access to the Online Course as a result of such suspension or any of the following:

  • The operation of the internet and the World Wide Web, including but not limited to viruses;

  • Any firewall restrictions that have been placed on your network or the computer you are using to access the Online Course;

  • Failures of telecommunications links and equipment; or

  • Updated browser issues.

    In order to access the Online Course you will need to comply with the recommended system requirements as stated at the start of this policy.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training will provide the Course Materials in accordance with the Online Course description.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training expects you to take reasonable care to verify that the Online Course and Course Materials in question will meet your needs. Long Drove Holistic Horse Training does not make any commitment to you that you will obtain any particular result from your use of the Course Materials or that you will obtain any particular qualification on completion of the Online Course.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training does not make any representation, guarantee or commitment to you that the Course Materials will be error free.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training does not make any commitment that the Course Materials will be compatible with or operate with your software or hardware.

  • All representations, warranties and / or terms and / or commitments not expressly set out in these Terms (whether implied by law, conduct, statute or otherwise) are hereby excluded to the maximum extent permissible at law.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training may update or amend these Terms from time to time to comply with law or to meet its changing business requirements without notice to you. Any updates or amendments will be posted on the Website.

  • These Terms and the Website Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement and understanding between us and supersedes and replaces any other terms and conditions previously published by us and any other understanding, undertaking, representation, warranty, arrangement or statement of any nature whatsoever made by us to you, whether oral, written or otherwise, relating to the subject matter of these Terms.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training may assign, transfer or sub-contract any of its rights or obligations under these Terms to any third party at its discretion.

  • The agreement between you and Long Drove Holistic Horse Training will be concluded in English only.

  • The agreement between you and Long Drove Holistic Horse Training which is compromised in these Terms is not intended to be for the benefit of any third party, and shall not be exercised by any other person under the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.

  • These Terms, and any other matters arising out of or in relation to these Terms, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms.
