Booking Terms and Conditions

This policy applies to booking any form of training session, event, clinic or any activities run by Tara Osborn (proprietor) at Long Drove Holistic Horse Training or via Videotelephony  ( will be known throughout this document as: ‘Lesson’)

  • All lessons must be paid for in advance at the time of booking.

  • If you cancel your lesson with less than 48 hour's notice, or do not attend with no contact, you will be charged a full price cancellation fee. Lessons cancelled with 48 hour's notice or more can be rearranged (excluding Clinics and Events).

  • All lessons booked may be rearranged once only (excluding Clinics and Events).

  • Clinics and Events: if cancelled within 14 days prior to the start of the event and another client has taken ‘your place’ a partial or full refund may be issued at the discretion of Long Drove Holistic Horse Training.

  • Cancelling a lesson does not entitle you to a refund. If a lesson is cancelled with more than 48 hour’s notice or by us for any reason, a credit will be added to your account. Credits are not refundable.

  • Refunds are strictly issued in extenuating circumstances only and at Long Drove Holistic Horse Training discretion.

  • If Long Drove Holistic Horse Training agrees to a refund in extenuating circumstances, there may be a cancellation fee applied to any online refund issued, to cover transaction fees.

  • All lessons may be postponed in severe weather conditions and at the discretion of Long Drove Holistic Horse Training and more than once if bad weather persists.

  • Bookings may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, Long Drove Holistic Horse Training reserves the right to change lesson format (In-Person or Videotelephony) at any time. On occasions Long Drove Holistic Horse Training may need to contact you and adjust the time of your booking. Long Drove Holistic Horse Training aims to make any changes within a two hour adjustment, either way, of the time which you have booked.

  • If you have booked a Clinic or Event and you are the only participant, Long Drove Holistic Horse Training reserves the right to shorten the lesson to account for sole attendance.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training accepts payments through the online booking system. Long Drove Holistic Horse Training does not currently accept cash or cheques.

  • The start of each lesson is dependent on the rider’s timely arrival. Lessons will end at the designated time with no exceptions.

  • Tara reserves the right to refuse to teach a client for any reason. 

  • On very rare occasions, Long Drove Holistic Horse Training reserves the right to cancel your lesson due to unforeseen circumstances. Long Drove Holistic Horse Training will notify you immediately via social media/email/telephone in these circumstances.

 

  • Extra Visitors and/or Friends of the Family are welcome however Long Drove Holistic Horse Training asks that: Children must be supervised at all times by a legally responsible person. Parents are advised not to leave your children unattended at any time. When spectating, please remain as quiet as possible, and in full view of the horses/ponies and Tara at all times. Whilst spectating, Tara reserves the right to ask you to leave the spectators area if she feels the safety of the rider or horse/pony is in question.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training has a Strict No Smoking Policy for fire safety reasons, if you are caught you will be asked to leave.

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training cannot be held responsible for any damage to your transportation while on the premises/grounds

  • Long Drove Holistic Horse Training cannot be held responsible for Damage, Theft or Loss of your personal property while it's on the premises.

  • Any verbal abuse of other Clients or Long Drove Holistic Horse Training Staff will result in you being asked to leave the premises immediately.

  • No dogs are allowed on site

Long Drove Holistic Horse Training understands that ‘life’ can happen and you may be in a situation where you cannot attend a lesson.

  • Should you wake up feeling unwell and unable to ride/work in your lesson, please contact Tara as soon as possible in the morning. In this case, you will not be charged the cancellation fee, depending on the situation, Tara may be able to ride/work your equine for you if you’re still able to transport your equine.

  • If your equine is lame/unable to be ‘worked’ on the day of your lesson, please advise as early as you can.

  • If at the start or during your lesson, your equine becomes lame, you will not be charged a cancellation fee and depending on the situation and duration of the lesson you may be refunded with the full or a partial lesson fee at the full discretion of Long Drove Holistic Horse Training.

Please understand that Tara dedicates her time and expertise to each lesson, and last-minute cancellations disrupt schedules and affect her ability to accommodate other clients. Long Drove Holistic Horse Training appreciates your understanding and cooperation in adhering to the booking terms and conditions.
